YaP is for English learners who can already follow a film with subtitles but still freeze when ordering coffee abroad. You sit in a chat, write or speak in English, and the tutor replies in English. It points out the bits that misfire and keeps the conversation moving.
There is no streak. There is no XP. There is just a real conversation that you steer.
Three Englishes, your pick
You can ask the tutor to stick to British, American or Australian English. The vocabulary, idioms and spelling shift to match. Ask for "lift" or "elevator", "rubbish" or "trash", "arvo" or "afternoon", and the tutor will hold the line for the rest of the session.
If you do not pick a dialect, the tutor defaults to a neutral international English.

What a session looks like
You open the app and say "I want to practise booking a hotel in London." The tutor turns into the receptionist and asks what nights you need. You answer. You make a mistake on the past tense. The tutor finishes the booking, then flags the mistake at the end with the correction and a flashcard.
Next morning the flashcard is waiting for you. Two reviews and it sticks.

You need English at work and the textbook stopped helping at B1. You can read it but speaking it is uncomfortable. You want to practise small situations - a phone call, a sales pitch, a job interview - without booking a tutor.
